Nicky Hatton

PANDA Project Officer - Young People

Nicky Hatton, PANDA Project Officer - Young People

Nicky went to Hull to study Drama before eagerly seeking out the bright lights of Manchester and its thriving theatre scene. She recently completed her MA in Applied Theatre at Manchester University, which she loved because it allowed her to create theatre with lots of different types of people. Alongside her studies she worked for the Library Theatre Company for over a year as their Administrator, and ran community theatre projects in Manchester. She is currently running a scratch night project for emerging writers and performance artists in Manchester.

Nicky is joining PANDA for 6 months as Project Officer for Young People. This means she is responsible for exploring how PANDA can develop its service for younger members. She is looking forward to working with a range of young people in Manchester to steal all their good ideas and improve their opportunities for pursuing performing arts careers.

In her spare time Nicky likes to go to gigs and watch films. She also likes people to think she is working hard on her allotment (although this usually means she is sitting outside with a gin and tonic).
