Rachel Morton
Network Manager
Rachel spent her education unable to chose between her twin passions, animals and the arts, eventually ending up doing a Zoology degree whilst gaining experience in event promotion and artist management in her spare time. During this busy period she had a lightbulb-over-the-head epiphany one afternoon in Kro Bar and decided to focus on the arts as a career.
After graduation Rachel joined Manchester City Music Network, where she worked as Project Co-ordinator for four happy years. A desire to expand her experience in other sectors of the arts led her by serendipity to PANDA, which she joined as Network Manager in May 2006.
Rachel is reponsible for provision of PANDA's Network Services, office and systems management, supporting PANDA Director Liz O'Neill and most importantly, looking after our lovely members. Her favourite things about working at PANDA are the fabulous social events, the office tradition of Friday tea and cake and the beautiful office dog, Henna.
Rachel currently sates her desire to simultaneously run an animal sanctuary in her spare time by looking after her pet rats and fishes. Just don't tell her landlord!
