ShowStarter and Training Programmes
In 2006/2007 PANDA piloted ShowStarter, a programme offering industry-led business development training and advice to final year students and recent graduates of Salford University and PANDA members.
Aimed at improving the work prospects of all participants, ShowStarter is also designed to give information and signpost opportunities and support networks that are available.
In the pilot year ShowStarter successfully reached 113 beneficiaries from graduates to final year students, as well as emerging companies in the first stages of development. Within the programme there were four masterclasses, twelve seminars, a networking event, two intensive courses and seven drop in advice session afternoons.
Registration for the current ShowStarter programme is open now. PANDA members can sign up when completing the Join PANDA form or by editing their details once their membership has been approved.
Watch out too for new trainee producer schemes, intensive summer schools and a revamped business incubation programme.
