You can join PANDA as a subscriber or as a member. It costs £25 a year to become a subscriber to the PANDA newsletter. Members receive the newsletter, as well as free legal support and discounts on insurances, events and training.

Not sure if it will benefit you? For only £10 you can register for a 3 month trial subscription. If you then join us, the £10 will be treated as a deposit and taken off your fee.

For individual members, the cost is £50 a year. For organisational members, the cost is £75 for small/unfunded companies; £100 for NPO organisations/companies; £150 for venues. For corporate or Institutional members, membership is negotiable and based on a bespoke package. Contact PANDA for more information.

You can still access the general content of the PANDA website such as ‘about us’ and ‘news + features’, but some of the richer content such as ‘opportunities’ and ‘resources’ will be restricted to members/subscribers. Places on PANDA training programmes and services are open to non-members, but on a 'pay as you go' standard rate charge and events with limited places will prioritise our members.

Members from outside the North are most welcome although where our capacity is limited we focus our support where we identify the most need exists - currently the North of England. However, there is a great deal of benefit to be had as a PANDA member if you are looking to work in or simply strengthen your networks in the region.

PANDA continually seeks to expand it's network and reach in order to strengthen the voice and klout of the sector - particularly independants and those in the regions. We are also always seeking to work with partners across the country and beyond to enable our services and opportunities to be accessed locally.

4

Does PANDA offer funding to artists?

PANDA does not offer any grants or funding to artists, but as a member you can access support and advice on fundraising for your work.

5

Does PANDA represent actors?

PANDA is a support and development network for the performing arts sector, not a talent agency. Whilst actors are welcome as part of the network, we do not find actors work.

6

Does PANDA offer work placement opportunities?

Occasionally PANDA supports work placements, but due to the nature of being a small organisation, cannot accept all requests.  Successful placements are the result of a carefully drafted placement agreement and are mutually beneficial to both PANDA and the individual.
