Why Pay By PayPal

We would prefer all members to pay their annual PANDA membership fee via PayPal for the following reasons:

  1. Our online membership database is linked directly to our PayPal account and details of membership expiry dates and payments made are all processed automatically using this system. To process a manual payment such as a cheque disrupts this automatic system and considerable additional administrative and accounting resources must be used. This is something we hoped to avoid with the new system, in order to keep costs and staff time resources to a minimum.

  2. In addition, the PANDA member in question may suffer from a period of dormant membership whilst waiting for their payment to be processed manually. Those paying via PayPal can make the transition from trial membership to full membership seamlessly.
