Rocket Theatre

Established in 1995, Rocket have been producing new and nearly new plays throughout the North West region and beyond. The company have won several awards for their work over that time and have staged over 25 productions. Notable shows include; I Licked A Slag's Deodorant by Jim Cartwright, Howie the Rookie by Mark O'Rowe, A Skull in Connemara by Martin McDonagh, Dealer's Choice by Patrick Marber and a number of new plays by Jim Burke, including Cornered.

The company also runs evening group acting classes for aspiring professionals on a termly basis in Manchester, as well as private one-to-one classes with artistic director, Martin Harris (see the profile entry under 'Audition Coach').

The company has several shows touring in 2010 and is always open to discussions regarding mutually beneficial collaborations or co-productions.
