Career Development Programme for G.Mcr Creatives

PANDA are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to get involved in this 3 month long practical training scheme Sept - Dec 2015

To be eligible for the scheme you must be:

• Able to make all of the compulsory training dates

• Interested in culture, creative industries, film, media, journalism, heritage, community work

• Based in the Greater Manchester area

If successful you will develop some of the key qualities & practical skills for project-based self-employment, freelancing, part time or full time employment. You will receive training in media, communications, community engagement and project management alongside practical experience designing & delivering your own media based campaign, supported by industry experts and your peers. This programme also leads to an Arts Award and evidence based portfolio. [We also have 5 x 6 month programmes to support individuals wishing to establish their own business through the New Enterprise Allowance scheme. Call PANDA for details]

Our project is particularly suited to those interested in one/more of the following:

•  Team leading & project management

• Filming and editing

• Marketing & campaigning

• Research & journalism

• Community engagement

• Creative industries

• Self-employment

Key Dates...

Compulsory Training Days: Sept 1st-4th, 7th-10th, 21st; Nov 16th.

Optional Additional Training: Oct 19th & 20th.

Project Delivery: 1-2 days per week agreed within teams; 11th Sept. - 8th Dec.

Exhibition, Moderation & Presentation Days: 9th&10th December
