Fundraising Training Day

In Association with National Arts Fundraising School

We are all aware of the funding cuts that the arts are currently facing and everyone, including PANDA, is having to find new ways of generating income. And because we are aware that you face the same funding challenges, we are offering the following event to help you develop your fundraising skills.

Fundrasing Training Day, in Assocation with National Arts Fundraising School

Date: Thursday 25th October 2007, 9.30am – 5.30pm
Venue: tbc
Cost: Special discounted rate for PANDA members: £60

PANDA has invited the National Arts Fundraising School to present a bespoke training session in fundraising specifically for independent performing arts companies.

The purpose of the day is:
• To outline the key principles of fundraising.
• To outline a step-by-step toolkit for developing an effective fundraising strategy.
• To highlight key potential funding sources available, and identify the main characteristics of each source.
• To understand how to communicate effectively – to ‘make an ask’.
• To look specifically at Trusts & Foundations and how to make an effective proposal.
• You also receive a Handbook which includes a combination of essential relevant key learning notes for all sessions and exercises to be done in your own time.

A course like this would normally cost £200 per person. By buying a bespoke ‘in-house’ version, PANDA are able to offer places at a greatly reduced charge of £60 p/p.

There is no time more pressing than the present to equip yourself with these skills.

Places are offered on a first come first served basis. You can reserve a place by emailing Liz O’Neill, which will then be confirmed on receipt of a cheque made payable to PANDA.
