The Festivals Warm Up Party
It's the perfect opportunity to prepare yourself for the summer theatre festival season ahead. Gather your thoughts and your friends together to swap flyers and ideas before the festivals start in earnest. July kicks off with Buxton Festival Fringe, followed by Hazard08, Blue 6, 24:7 Theatre Festival and Contacting the World, then comes Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August and Emergency and Dublin Festival Fringe in September, to mention just a few!
Join us at 8.00pm on Friday 4th July 2008 in the gorgeous surrounds of the delightful Old Abbey Inn. This pretty little pub, the latest in the Kro dynasty, is located in Manchester Science Park, just off Lloyd Street North behind Manchester University. There is ample parking near the venue for designated drivers or it's just a 5 minute stroll from the main bus routes on Oxford Road.
There will be complimentary drinks on arrival, feelgood summertime music on the air and great company to be had all night. Relax outside on the sun terrace or chill out inside in the beautiful traditional bar and maybe have a little dance if the mood takes you.
The PANDA Summer Social will also be your chance to say farewell to PANDA Project Manager Zoe Pickering who very sadly is leaving us, though very happily it's to have a baby! Unless Baby Pickering decides to make an early appearance into the world the mum-to-be should be joining us for the party. Come and join us as we thank Zoe for the dedication and committment which has made her an invaluable member of the PANDA team.

- Cost: Free to PANDA members / £5 for guests and expired PANDA members.
