Review of ShowStarter Young People's Day
On Saturday 7th February 2009, PANDA met up with 40 young people and arts professionals from the North West region for its ShowStarter Young People's Day on Working in the Performing Arts.
This free careers event, which took place at the Zion Arts Centre, was the first public PANDA opportunity designed specifically for 14-21 year olds.
Activities included a range of inspiring workshops, a Q&A session, and a marketplace for local arts organisations and educational establishments, who were on hand with loads of useful industry info and advice.

Several young people fed back that they found the day really enjoyable and informative, as well as giving us some helpful suggestions on how to improve our programme for future events.
PANDA would like to say a big thank you to all the workshop leaders, participants and stallholders that came down and made the day such a success.
