Spotlight on... The Art to Networking
On Wednesday night we held ‘Spotlight on… The Art to Networking’ led by Natalie Campbell from Make Your Mark.
Networking is that word that makes most artists shudder in fear in the corner so we decided to hold the event to try and confront those demons. What most of you are good at is talking and socialising so why when asked to network do you all hide away? Well last night was an example of how good everyone was at ‘networking’, all participants got completely involved and we found out some extremely interesting things about our members – in particular their purple cow!
We had positive feedback about the session, especially as it featured some really practical tools to help you avoid those moments of blank silences. In fact, the evening went far too quickly and I think there is definite need for a follow up – watch this space!
