Student / Graduate Placement Opportunity at PANDA

We are pleased to be able to offer an opportunity for a student or recent graduate, with interest and experience in participatory arts, to take part in a work experience placement at PANDA.

The student would be supporting Creative Breaks – a new work experience scheme for young people who are NEET (not in education, employment or training) and emerging disabled artists in the North West.

Find out more about Creative Breaks.

The placement would involve working one day per week over a 6 month period, both in the PANDA office and out at placements. You would also gain experience in the development and administration of other PANDA services, such as our young person's project and the PANDA website.

We're looking for someone organised and self-reliant to support with the marketing, communication, administration and monitoring of placements. You would preferably have some participatory theatre experience and be comfortable working with disadvantaged young people and people with specific access needs.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wanted to gain arts management and/or participatory theatre experience in a professional working context.

This placement is unpaid and voluntary.

If you are interested please send a CV and cover letter detailing your interest to Nicky Hatton by email to nicky@panda-arts.org.uk.

The deadline for applications is Friday 14th August 2009.

For more information contact Nicky Hatton at the PANDA office on 0161 274 0652.
