The following five companies were supported under PANDA's Incubation Scheme from January 2006 to December 2007.
Hercules Productions International
Led by Artistic Director Marcus Hercules, Hercules Productions International is a new company that aims to bring together professional and non-professional artists from diverse communities in Manchester.
Ikebana Performance
Ikebana is led by Jonathan McGrath, and aims to create multi-sensory stimulation including site-specific performances, and wherein the smell and temperature of a performance space is as calculated as the text and the way the performer presents it to the audience.
Pigeon Theatre
Pigeon Theatre is a group of three women artists who over the past five years have researched and devised performance-work that addresses questions of site-specificity, of non-traditional theatre spaces, of unconventional and unfamiliar spatial/social arrangements, and of performer/spectator intimacy and interactivity.
Running to Paradise
Running to Paradise is the new venture led by the acclaimed writer and director Cheryl Martin.
Upasana
Upasana is dedicated to promoting Indian arts and culture in the UK, through a series of workshops and professional Bharatanatyam (South Indian Classical Dance) performances.
