The Consortium Members

The PANDA Producers Consortium is made up of three members.


Jenna Omeltschenko

Jenna, PANDA Producers Consortium

Jenna is currently working with Gino Evans as Producer on his show Myasthenia Gravis, which was first developed as part of the At Home programme at Contact. Jenna has recently started to work with Frisko and Sharpening SAWDS as Producer on a new full length play with the working title Contradictions. Jenna works on a freelance basis as a Community Arts Project Assistant for Lime Arts and is the Production Manager for their film The Amazing Dr Sober to be released in October 2008. Jenna also works as a youth theatre director with groups across Manchester as well as many other theatre projects across the North West.

Interests: Theatre, multi-media, music, new writing, community projects.

Saira Khatun

Saira, PANDA Producers Consortium

Saira has been working with PANDA Incubated Company Upasana, as an administrative/creative producer and its newly appointed Company Secretary, having worked on other projects at Contact Theatre. She recently started to support The Smoking Guns Productions Company as a freelance producer. Saira also teaches ESOL and is an Outreach worker.

Interests: Multidisciplinary and participatory theatre.

Fergus Evans


Fergus Evans, a member of the PANDA Producers Consortium

Fergus has worked as a producer and project manager for a number of arts organisations including queerupnorth international festival and Art Bandit. In November of 2007 he assisted PANDA in booking a national tour of I HEAR VOICES. Fergus has worked in a number of marketing positions as well, having worked as a freelance Marketing Assistant for Contact Theatre and Show Publicity Director for the Players of GSU. Fergus is available for work in the fields of Marketing, Project Management, Tour Booking and Event Management.


Interests: Spoken word, live literature, multi-media, new writing, political theatre, LGBT art, community projects.
