Creative Breaks is a creative work programme led by PANDA in partnership with Union Street Media Arts. Current funding by Association of Greater Manchester Authorities means we can work with up to 25 people per year for this 3 month programme.

The scheme is an exciting opportunity to develop key skills and qualities appropriate to working as a freelancer in the arts or voluntary sector. Creative Breaks offers workshops and hands on experience in areas such as: media campaigns, community development, social change, digital marketing and project management. Selected participants work in teams to raise awareness of a 'Hidden Gem', locally, regionally and internationally in a way that also enables them to build their CV.

To be eligible to apply you must be able to answer yes to the following:

Underemployed/Unemployed

Have a Greater Manchester post code

Desire to work in the Arts & Cultural sector

Interested in non-performance roles

Able to commit to set dates (largely every Monday from Sept-Dec with extra dates Sept for initial training).
